An announcement for at least one post-doc position, for a duration of 24 months, is currently open. Strong candidates with a background in geometric topology, hyperbolic geometry, Teichmüller theory, differential geometry (with a particular focus on the theory of submanifolds) and/or geometric analysis, and willing to work on the themes of my ERC project “GENERATE” (https://www.generate.unito.it/), are encouraged to apply.

Applicants are required to upload a CV, a research project of at most 6 pages, and at most 5 scientific publications.

While the official call is for one position, there may be scope to recruit additional candidates through the same selection procedure.
The starting date can be discussed at a later stage, but is expected to be between January and September 2027.
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in the autumn, and I expect to inform the selected candidate(s) no later than November/December 2026.
Unfortunately, the type of contract offered through this call requires candidates to obtain their PhD within six months of the opening of the call, i.e. by the end of January 2027. Current PhD students who are interested in these positions but do not meet this requirement are encouraged to contact me directly by email, as it may be possible to proceed with recruitment under a different type of contract.
